    @Falloutfan961 My band just gets together so we can write some stuff for fun and do an occasional Death or In Flames cover. It’s a lot of of fun.

    @tenhundredkills we don’t strive for fame or anything just like to play together and see how it sounds is all.

    @tenhundredkills …
    @tenhundredkills its not like i couldn’t play one its just im not the one who writes our songs. i let the drummer get a pace and the vcalist give us some lyrics to figure out what kinda playing to do and the rest falls into place. the reason i dont give names is that im never really with the same bandmates for more than a few weeks before we switchout. not to say that they don’t come back we just like to get a good supply of fresh ideas andd such.

    @Falloutfan961 I used to have that problem until I started learning some music theory. Now I can shred and it actually sounds good (at least to my band mates anyway)!

    @tenhundredkills i can’t play solos for some reason so we have the rhythm guitarist play the solos for us. hes not as fast as me but he plays kinda like hammet mixed with mustaine in varied parts. (that is to say in their slower solos of course.)

    @Falloutfan961 True …
    @Falloutfan961 True, but I can get a really nice clean tone from my Soloist, especially from the neck pickup. Realistically though, it’s a metal machine!

    @tenhundredkills gibson. jackson has no place in country that i can think of tho its excellent in metal and heavier rock songs but its more for metal tho.

  9. tenhundredkills Says:

    @Falloutfan961 Do …
    @Falloutfan961 Do you mean Gibsons or Jacksons? I play death metal on my Jackson no problem. My friend had to drop either EMGs or Blackouts (I don’t remember which) in his LP to sound crushing enough for our band.

    @tenhundredkills …
    @tenhundredkills still a good brand for rock-country and mid to light metal music.

    @bradvssasha I still buy American if I can. Just not Gibsons. For the past few years, their quality control has gone down the tube. Besides, they’re so overpriced.

    @tenhundredkills …
    @tenhundredkills same hear i dont tend to buy USA guitars lost interest thanks to the fine at gibson

  14. tenhundredkills Says:

    @bradvssasha Hmm. …
    @bradvssasha Hmm. I’ll have to give them a look. Nothing against the Polish, but I have never had a good experience from buying a East European product, but I won’t rant about it. Either way, I need to save up my pennies!

    @tenhundredkills well by lead guitarists has got a ran and im telling you its the i carnt find anything wrong with it looks ace sounds awsome plays perfect ok bit expensive and its got a kaler on it witch i dont like but thats his trem but realy they are awsome id get one just carnt aford one but realy trust them you will not regret it if you get one and you will love it

  16. tenhundredkills Says:

    @bradvssasha I …
    @bradvssasha I considered the Razorback seven string, but I hate Floyd Roses. I’ve never heard of KxK and I don’t trust Ran. I’d rather pay more to have an American built Jackson. Just my opinion.

  17. bradvssasha Says:

    @tenhundredkills …
    @tenhundredkills theres also a cheap dean razoback 7 string sounds good but i thinks its better for costomizing my self but if you want a costom shop look at eather kxk or ran jackson will cost you a ball and an eye and kxk and ran are much better guitars

  18. tenhundredkills Says:

    @bradvssasha BC …
    @bradvssasha BC Rich’s V is in a God-awful purple color, but otherwise isn’t too bad. I just hate purple. There’s no point in playing that much for a guitar and it being in a hideous color. The RRV7 by Jackson hasn’t been made in forever so getting one around here is about impossible. I guess I’ll save up my money for a custom shop Jackson.

  19. bradvssasha Says:

    @tenhundredkills …
    @tenhundredkills made by a guy called richi thommpson who has a shop in town near why i live but you its a rr syle v 7 string with a single emg 707 but the price of 1500 no idea thats just how much he wanted for it but bc rich make a 7 string v its realy nice jackson made a rrv 7 as well you can still get them but its kinda crap tbh

  20. tenhundredkills Says:

    @bradvssasha How …
    @bradvssasha How did you get it for that price? What brand? I’ve always wanted a 7-string V, but no one makes one that I like.

  21. bradvssasha Says:

    @tenhundredkills ye …
    @tenhundredkills ye i no iv got 2 esps lol but nah factory guitars are not realy my thing anymore just had a costom guitar build and its the best guitar iv ever played and 500 cheaper than a USA made by dean or jackson and its all my spec pickups i want scale string amount trem and so on lol but ye its the shit

  22. tenhundredkills Says:

    @bradvssasha If you …
    @bradvssasha If you really like active pickups, ESP guitars are usually loaded with EMG 81/85 or 81/60 set. I’d give ‘em a look.

  23. bradvssasha Says:

    @tenhundredkills ye …
    @tenhundredkills ye i no just never liked the sh2 jazz or well passive pickups in general lol just always liked the tone and sound of actives but i gess it wouldent hurt to jam around on an rr1 or somthing

  24. tenhundredkills Says:

    @bradvssasha The …
    @bradvssasha The USA Jacksons do have really nice pickups. You would only hurt the guitar with a pair of EMGs. But I see your point.

  25. bradvssasha Says:

    @tenhundredkills …
    @tenhundredkills try but im not a fan of superstrats and i dont like the pickups in the rr1 and it seams daft to buy a usa jackson then drop a pair of emgs in it lol
