Nylon Stratocaster

Finally! This is the first time I play my new homemade custom Nylon string stratocaster! 
Just fooling around with some improvisation mostly…
Still some things I need to fix on it, but it’s definitely playable as it is now. Although the action is very high, and there’s also some intonation problems.

Fender Japan body from the 90′s
Warmoth (scalloped) neck w/ XJ frets and Sperzel locking tuners (locking tuners is a must!), and a graphite nut. I’m not sure graphite is the right way to go with nylon though, so I’ll probably try something else.
Fender tremolo bridge with piezo pick-ups on the bridge saddles. The piezos are GraphTech’s Ghost system, which also has MIDI out available.
The pick guard is very custom – i carved it out myself.
I’m going to build in a compressor (BOSS CS3) under the pickguard, and also a simple eq which will be controlled by pressing the volume knob. All powered by a 9V battery.
For now the strings are medium tension, but I think that causes some problems, so I’ll try extra high tension too see if it plays better.

Single-piece solid ash body, contoured on back and lower bass bout, and finished in two-tone Sunburst (yellow to black). One-piece fretted maple neck with a huge profile, 21 frets, and black dot position markers. Small headstock with decal with Fender “spaghetti” logo in gold with black trim. Three white Bakelite-covered black-bottom single-coil pickups with staggered polepieces and wonderfully balanced outputs of 6.23k, 5.35k, and 6.95k. Single-layer white Bakelite pickguard with eight screws. The neck has a pencil mark of “TG[Tadeo Gomez]-7-54.” The neck cavity has a pencil mark of “#2 / 5/54″. The control cavity has a piece of original tape with “Mary / 5-29-54″ written in pencil. This guitar is in exceptionally fine (9.00) condition. Housed in its original Fender brown form-fit “poodle” case with red plush shag lining (9.25).
